Works like a charm. No problems on iMac 2008 with Mavericks whatsoever. Zero lag when opening and the date blocks are big so you can see things easily from a distance. However, I would like an option to change the calendar month display size so I can make it even bigger than its default month-view size.
I love this application. It works exactly as it said it would. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star rating is because I think the user interface is a bit ugly (sorry Qbix!). If you only use your calendar app once and a while this is a perfect solution.
So easy to use and all your dates shared at a glance! Extremely impressed with it that I am seriously considering an upgrade to the $9.99 version.
It’s a great app and is fairly easy to use!
I had this installed for months. Worked fine. Then suddenly, it was taking up all of my RAM (16GB). Whenever I clicked on the icon, I got the spinning beach ball. Repaired permissions, etc., all OK, but memory would continually go down to 0 and the computer would freeze. Used the Activity Monitor to stop it, then deleted it from Applications. All OK since then. Re-installed a new version from the App Store. Same problems, same solution. Sorry, this once-useful tool is not wortht the aggravation that it has caused me.
This was just what I wanted. I did not want to open my Apple Calendar every time I wanted to look up an appt. This app enables me to check right from the menu bar!
This app was helpful for my needs. the iMac that I’m using can be sluggish to open full apps, so I wanted something that could work quickly to check the calendar. This proved to be a better app than expected, as I can now also see my appointments and and other such invites at a quick glance. All I wanted was a calendar to look at quickly, and got a little more. This works great!
Great app - one of the basics you really need. Simple to use, comprehensive, interfaces perfectly with your existing calendar appointments. Very convenient to be able to have a menubar drop-down with all your info and appointments, and a monthly calendar RIGHT THERE. Quick, efficient. VERY HAPPY - thanks to the developer!!! :-)
I’ve downloaded a lot of free programs and usually have very little expectation. This program, however, is not only free but exceptionally done.
Works as expected. My only complaint: the name “Calendar” is a little generic, and if you search in spotlight for “Calendar” you’re liable to get confused between this app and the built in OSX app of the same name.
Quick & easy to open in th menu bar
I wish the pop up everytime I turn on my laptop “calendar has been updates to version 2.0” would go away. I know I updated but does it have to appear everytime. And it will not go away unless I click the app.
Just love this new version of Calendar 2 BUT, yes there is BUT… I like to have the weather indicated in my calendar because I am often working on the road. BUT, I would appreciate if I could turn off the pressure, the wind, the precipitations, and the humidity. I do not need this extra info and it takes too much space on the display. These things should be optional. For the rest, this little app is just great to work with.
Id pay for a menubar app that showed timebars and listed events in monthview within the drop down calendar, but at free, this does a very decent job. Great to have a fast reference calendar app all in month view. Just in case anyones wondering, changing the start day from Monday to Sunday... System Preferences --> Language & Text --> Formats --> Starting Day of Week
This is a great app to have sitting in your menu bar.
Its easy and simple to use. Whenever I want to quickly refer to the calendar, this app provide a beautiful view along with the events.
It is better than the built-in Calender.
Yosemiteにしたら次のような不具合がでてきた: 1.カレンダー表示の操作ボタンが機能しない.例えば次の月に移動できない. 2.Optionのaccountsの表示が正常でない
I need something easily accessible that can show me the days of the month like win xp and that is it. The "calendar" app.
