I used to love thet app despite its bugs, but now… Ill switch to sth else.
be careful, week number is off by one. Today is week # 42 but this app shows # 41.
Please return the previous design! It was clean and informative. New one is heavy and unfriendly.
New design is ugly. Why you broke that beautiful app? That was cool lightweight app with awesome functionality, now you create a settings window and change nice dots in popup calendar to ugly point. That update is design for desing. Cant wait update, craches after wake. Switch to Fantastical.
really useful program, easy access to the Cal
Easy-use App without excess. One more thing: it will be goot to add Reminders - for urgent events to appear on the screen at set time. Удобное приложение без излишеств. Единственное, можно добавить напоминания - чтобы важные события сами появлялись в нужный момент.
In terms of mine it is really best of thing what help to see calendar when you need to have short view to align any tasks.
Really good, perfectly integrated and usefull application. I really like the feature that shows per caledar appointments on each day with different colors. Thanks.
A good tool for who needs a virtual “secretary” to remind every appointment
When I moved from PC to Mac a bit ago, one of the things I missed was the pop-up calendar that was available when you simply clicked the date in the system tray in Windows. Why Mac doesn’t have an equivalent when you click on the date in the menu bar is odd. This app fills that need fantastically! I almost didn’t give it five stars because of the price, but all of the added features in the paid version are worth it. I’m now a happy camper, and have finally resolved one of the lingering issues I had after switching to a Mac. Great job, Qbix!
This app could be (actually is) great, but there are many quirks that remain. And support via Facebook is not my idea of great support. I do not have, nor do I want to have a Facebook account, and direct feedback to the developer seems to be no longer available. Not that it matters much, because when direct feedback was available, responses to “bug” reporting were never sent, nor were the bugs ever fixed. One bug that has been present for months is that after selecing a certain date to view events, then selecting a different date, the newly-selected date highlights on the calendar but the event display remains at the previously-selected date. Very repeatable and happens often. Previously reported via direct feedback but the problem remains. The app is free, and quite functional, but such obvious bugs should be fixed.
I’m not sure what the difference between Calendar 2 and Calendar Plus. One is $20 and the other is $10.00. I am trying Calendar 2 and paid the .99 for a months use. There doesn’t seem to be any support though. Even though I paid to unlock Calendar 2 for a month, it doesn’t unlock the features. I’m a little surprised Appled allows a vednor to offer products with no support.
Excellent Utility which I can look which provides mini view of iCal events without opening iCal, Update: Version 1.7 This is very good Calendar Application, I can see upcoming holidays and My Appointments in Menubar without opening iCal. Simple App but effective.
So every single GUI that I use does this, except in OS X. Gnome, KDE, Windows, etc….. so why doesn’t Mac? Well I don’t have to ask that quesiton anymore thanks to this awesome developer. I will gladly pay $20 for this until Apple figures this out. I know the basic usage is free, and that is all I’m going to use it for, but I support mom and pop shops!
Stopped working a couple of months ago. I tried deleting, reinstalling with no success. There seems to be no way to contact anyone for support except for a Facebook page where I left multiple messages with no response whatsoever.
It’s in the Menu Bar and I can access it wothoput covering up the apps I am working on. I ferequently check my schedule for the remainder of the day and the next day. This is easier than opening up Apple’s Calendar App from which it takes the information.
I don’t know how this go installed on my mac… does anyone know how to uninstall this malware?
Impressive improvement over the built-in calendar, I recommend it to all my friends and family.
Ive used and loved (5 star) this app for years, but with this update it just crashes! It starts up and poof, its gone. I am running the minimum system requirement (10.7.5), so that may be the problem.
